General description of construction

  
Surface treatment:
Electrostatic conductive anti-corrosive coating requires surface sandblasting treatment, rust removal grade should reach GB/T8923 specified Sa2 level, the treated surface should be coated with primer within 24 hours.

Construction environment:
Water, sand, cotton and other foreign bodies are strictly prohibited in the paint during construction. In case of wind, sand, rain, snow and fog, the construction should be stopped to ensure the quality of the coating.

Coating color preparation:
Before use, the two components A and B should be fully stirred respectively, and then the construction can be evenly stirred. When conditions are available, it is recommended to do a small sample for matching test.

Construction method:
1. Electrostatic conductive anti-corrosive coating can be used by ordinary spraying, high pressure airless spraying, brush coating and other processes.
2.Paint construction trial period is generally not more than four hours, when the temperature is high, the construction trial period will be shortened accordingly, should be used now.
3. The previous coating can be applied to the next one when the surface is dry, and the spray gun, feed pipe, paint brush, etc. should be cleaned with solvent in time after the construction is completed, so as to avoid the residual coating curing and affecting the next use.

Thinner:
When the viscosity of the paint is too large, it can be diluted by the special diluent produced by our company, and the dosage should not exceed 5% of the paint amount.

Coating structure:
1. It is recommended to use one bottom and three sides coating structure, the coating amount is 0.8-1.0kg/m², and the total thickness of the coating dry film is 200-220um. A finish can be added to the special weight area.
2. Below 10ºC, maintenance 7-10 days; 10-30ºC curing 5-7 days; Above 30ºC, curing for 3-5 days.
 

Surface Treatment

1. Steel with oxide scale: processed to Sa2.5 level by shot blasting or sand blasting. Where sandblasting is not possible, it should be mechanically sanded or chemically treated to remove all floating debris and leave the surface clean, dry, rust-free, and dust-free.

2. Steel without scale: Use pneumatic or electric elastic grinding wheel to grind to St3 level.

3. Steel coated with shop primer: Light blasting or secondary derusting with pneumatic (power) tools to St3 level.

4. The surface after rust removal cannot be touched by hand and should be painted as soon as possible, with an interval of no more than two hours. If contamination or rust is found before painting, it should be reprocessed to meet the rust removal grade standards.
 

  

Safety Matters

1. Proper ventilation of the construction site;
2. Fireworks are strictly prohibited in the construction site and adjacent areas;
3. Use explosion-proof electrical equipment;
4. Metal impact is strictly prohibited;
5. Prevent static accumulation;
6. Wear necessary protective equipment;
7. Avoid inhaling paint mist, avoid skin contact with paint and thinner, etc;
8. If the eyes are accidentally splashed with paint, wash with plenty of water and seek medical attention;
9. Properly dispose of empty paint drums and remaining paint to avoid environmental pollution;
10. Take all other necessary safety and fire control measures according to the specific situation on the scene.
